GE Robinson are delighted to announce our recently acquired business Craven Timber was nominated for the Small Trader of the Year Award at the recent TTJ Awards 2017. Craven Timber were nominated alongside a range of companies providing stiff competition with East Bros (Salisbury), James Davies Timber (Newcastle Emlyn) Tonge Bridge Timber (Bolton) also being shortlisted. The Small Trader of the Year Award sponsored by Cavaion Baumann UK eventually went to East Bros of Salisbury. GE Robinson/Craven Timber would like to congratulate East Bros on their success and look forward to challenging them again in 2018.
GE Robinson has announced its first acquisition in Yorkshire having recently completed the purchase of Craven Timber (Batley) Ltd, based in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire. GE Robinson, part of the Haldane Shiells Group, is one of the UK’s leading timber importers supplying timber to the trade since 1914; importing from locations across the globe to their sites in Salford and Walsall.
