Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a tough engineered wood panel product. It is formed by layering strands of wood in specific orientations and then bonding the layers with a resin. OSB meets similar performance standards as plywood but is more cost-effective and benefits by being strong and durable, with no knots or voids. It can be sanded and is easy to fix – with applications ranging from packaging, flooring, roofing, hoarding, timber frame & general site use. OSB has excellent moisture tolerance and is much less susceptible to the stress related problems of plywood, such as warping and ply separation.

GE Robinsons stock a wide range of OSB including OSB 2, OSB3, and MDO overlaid OSB3 suitable for Site Hoarding.

OSB is a cost effective alternative to Softwood Plywood. It is environmentally certified and EUTR (European Union Timber Regulation) compliant.
