Members of our timber team recently visited Carrefour International Du Bois in Nantes, one of the world’s leading events for the international timber industry.
Michelle Buckland, Managing Director, David McVeigh, Purchasing Director, and Alex Wood, Business Development Director attended the exhibition to meet with suppliers, explore the latest products and developments, and gain a wider view of the direction of the global timber market.
Held in Nantes, Carrefour International Du Bois brings together timber suppliers, manufacturers, processors and associated product specialists from across the world.
The event showcases a broad range of products, from sawn and processed timber through to cladding, engineered timber, components, treatments, coatings, fixings and other related systems.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for the team to reconnect with existing suppliers, meet new contacts and see first-hand how the wider timber sector continues to evolve. With exhibitors attending from all sides of the globe, the event offered a useful insight into current product trends, sustainability priorities and the growing focus on value-added timber solutions.
For our team, events such as Carrefour International Du Bois play an important role in maintaining strong relationships across the supply chain. They also allow us to keep up to date with developments in timber products, responsible sourcing, certification, treatment processes and associated technologies.
