E/E Timber

E/E, or eased edge timber, refers to timber sections that have been planed with slightly rounded edges for improved handling, appearance and reduced splintering. Usually supplied in softwood, E/E timber is commonly used where a cleaner finish is required than rough sawn material.

It is a practical product for trades requiring consistent sizing, ease of handling and a neater appearance for internal or external applications, depending on treatment and specification.

Typical uses: framing, fencing, landscaping, joinery support work, general construction and exposed utility applications.
