American White Oak is a strong, attractive hardwood widely used in UK joinery, furniture and interior fit-out. It is generally pale to medium brown in colour, with a straight grain and a distinctive oak appearance. 

It machines well, stains and finishes to a high standard and is valued for its strength, durability and decorative qualities. American White Oak is especially popular where a clean, consistent oak finish is required. 

Typical uses: furniture, cabinet making, doors, staircases, mouldings, shopfitting, flooring, panelling, joinery and interior architectural work.
