Thermally Modified Ayous is a lightweight hardwood that has been thermally modified to improve its stability and durability. Ayous is naturally pale and soft, but thermal modification gives it a darker, more uniform appearance and improved suitability for external applications.
It is easy to machine and is commonly selected for cladding where a lightweight, stable and attractive modified timber is required.
Typical uses: external cladding, internal feature panelling, screening, architectural façades and decorative timber applications.
