Carcassing timber is a core construction product used across the UK building industry for structural and general building applications. Usually manufactured from softwood species such as Spruce, Pine or Fir, carcassing is commonly supplied strength graded, regularised and available either untreated or treated.

It provides a reliable, economical and readily available timber solution for roof, floor, wall and general structural work. Treated carcassing can also be used where enhanced resistance to decay and insect attack is required.

Typical uses: floor joists, roof timbers, rafters, studwork, wall plates, partitions, framing and general construction.
